What Is WATSA?

WATSA is our Annual Walk-A-Thon & Silent Auction, hosted by Montclaire Parent-Teacher Organization (MPTO). It aims to raise funds to support our amazing Montclaire. Here is a FUN video from our lovely community members (teachers, parents even kids) to explain what they think of WATSA. Do check it out!

Why Does WATSA Matter?

The funds we raise at WATSA enables Montclaire to pay for additional teachers (Teachers On Special Assignment (TOSAs)) and instructional aides that benefit all Montclaire students.  We also use these funds to provide art, music and STEAM activities that would not otherwise exist at Montclaire due to a lack of state funds.  These programs are among the many reasons that set Montclaire apart from other local schools.

WATSA T-Shirt?

As always, we cannot do WATSA without a WATSA T-shirt. We design a new T-Shirt each year. WATSA T-shirts are not for sale during WATSA week.  Grab yours now for the early bird discount price of $25, prices increase as of March 1.

How To Get Involved?

• A great starting point, you can get a WATSA T-Shirt! Everyone loves it! It makes you feel special and more connected to the community. 

• If you love parties, consider hosting or co-hosting an event to be auctioned at the Silent Auction. If you are interested in hosting a WATSA party, and would like to find out more, please contact WATSA@Montclaire.org. The Silent Auction team can help you with party ideas and connect you with other hosts (many parties have 3 or more co-hosts).

Consider underwriting or being a sponsor for the event to help defray costs and maximize proceeds to the school. Please contact Danielle if you would like to underwrite or sponsor WATSA.  You can also purchase a sponsorship package directly on the website using this link.
